Shimmer is an Alicorn who has nothing. She can't fly or do magic, and she's terrible with plants. Her sisters dislike her, as does everypony else, including herself. She has zero confidence.
2002 years ago, Shimmer left her family and hasn't seen them since. Now, in the paper, she sees Twilight Sparkle became a princess, and wants to get her advice.
The carriage company says no to anypony but Alicorns, and says she needs a badge to ride. She now has to walk to Ponyville.
What will happen on her journey? Will she gain confidence in herself? Maybe make some friends?
