Johnny Tremain (By Esther Hoskins Forbes)

This is a review of Johnny Tremain, a book I read for school. It takes place in the late 1700's. I would give it 8 stars. I would recommend it for kids ages 10-13. This is my summary:

Johnny Tremain is a silversmith's apprentice, along with 2 other boys, Dove and Dusty. He bullies the other boys, but is still favored among them. It's because he is the best at the work. One day, Dusty plays a trick on him when he is making a cup. It ruins his right hand. Because of this, he cannot silversmith. Johnny has to find a new job. He works for a newspaper, where he makes new friends, and he ends up in historical events, including the Boston Tea Party.

I would recommend this book to a friend.
